Outstanding TM Award for Intergraph Toastmasters Club

NOTE: This award was last given in June 2000. The information given below will assist the club officers in the future should this award be given again.

At the end of the year, members will vote for the 5 members with the most points on the categories of enthusiasm, dedication, and helping others. The rating system is 5 = excellent; 3 = good; and 1 = fair. Once these votes are compiled, the winner will be announced at the year-end awards banquet in June and be given a trophy for their accomplishments.

Rules/Guidelines:

1. (Code:AT) You must have at least an 80% attendance rate to receive any points at all for attendance. Your attendance record starts July 1st or the day on which you join the club.

100% 10 points
90-99% 8 Points
80-89% 6 Points

(Code:BM) Bonus meetings will not count in the attendance portion, but you will receive one bonus point for each meeting attended.

Total Bonus Speak-a-thon Meetings to date: 0

In the table at the bottom of the page, the number of meetings present will be counted. Points will not be tallied until the last June Meeting.

2. (Code:CO) Club Officer Service points only provided for officers who complete their terms. On June 30, 2002 the officers will each receive 10 points. Should an officer be replaced before January 1, 2002, the replacement officer would be eligible for 5 points om June 30, 2002.

Until June 30, the field will have an asterisk next to the active club officers.

3. (Code:ED) Educational Achievement Awards score points in the following fashion:

CTM 12 points
ATM (B, S or G) 10 Points
CL or AL 10 Points
DTM 15 Points

4. (Code:SP) Each Manual Speech, Better Speaker Series or Successful Club Series Module given at the club is worth 3 points.

5. (Code:CN) Each contest speaker (Humorous, Evaluation and International> gets 3 points and an additional 3 points for winning the contest and an additional 3 points for each win in a contest above the club level. Each Chief Judge, Judge, Target Speaker, Counter and Timer receives 1 point.

6. (Code:CD) Each member who coordinates one of the following: Speechcraft, Success/Leadership. Success Communication, Youth Leadership or completes the High Performance Leadership Module, or serves as a Club Specialist or Club Mentor receives 6 points.

7. (Code:ME) Receive 10 points for sponsoring one new member and 5 points for each subsequent new member. Sponsor 5 or more members to receive your next 6-month dues for free.

8. (Code:MN) Mentor a new member and receive 3 points

9. (Code:IC) Receive a point for each visit to an outside club.
